I called to schedule an oil change and to check my brakes and they were able to get me in on a Saturday morning and took care of my car. They said my brakes were in excellent condition so I didn't need new brakes, rotated my tires for me, and did my oil change. The customer service was excellent and I would recommend them to anyone.

Hello, Im a little late writing this review. I had my 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan serviced here in late April of 2019. Front brake and Rotor job to be specific. Job was performed perfectly and finished pretty fast. The total cost was fair I would say at $380. Also came with 24 months of free Roadside Assistance and a warranty. In July I came back and had the back brakes and rotors done along with an oil change and Air Conditioning Rear cap and recharge job. Total $809 (which I felt was fair). AC blows cold so me and my kids did not have to sweat over the summer. The Dodge dealership quoted around $2000 to fix the AC. I brought my wives 2011 Lincoln MKX in for her front brakes and rotors to be repaired. Along with an oil change and a tire that needed plugging. All work was done well as with the dodge. Cost was $633. The guys here were very professional and respectful. I would recommend this Tuffy location (Farmington Hills / Halsted Road) to anyone that needs work done.

I've come to this Tuffy location for service a couple of times and Josh and the crew are very kind and helpful. Each time I come I feel like family. I sit in the lobby and actually have a good time talking to Josh and some of the other customers. They make you feel quite comfortable. A place where you can ask anything about your car! I would recommend this location or Josh's Dad's location also in Walled Lake. Keep up the great work guys!

I needed a catalytic converter pipe welded. I called around and everyone said to make an appointment in a few days. Called Tuffy Auto Service. Was greeted professionally. Staff and owner are skilled, polite and friendly. They made time the same day. Was asked to arrive at 2 pm. They took my car promptly at 2 pm and did the welding and installed a hose clamp (no charge). They checked my fluids to make sure levels were right. Due to their professionalism I agreed to have my power steering fluid flushed. Steering greatly improved. Will definately use them in the future.Q

Tuffy in Farmington hills on Halsted is the best place I get my car services. The owner Josh Rott is extremely efficient and friendly. I would not go elsewhere. So happy I find mechanics I can trust. I went today, my car was being checked, and just told Christopher a problem with the gas door, he looked at it and fixed it graciously! He made my day!! no more problem to put gas!!!

I had the best customer service ever at this location. The staff was very professional and helpful. I was serviced immediately after arriving to the shop with a free inspection. They prioritized my needs and gave very reasonable prices. I will definitely return to this shop if I have any problems in the future. The clean appearance, free coffee and wifi was also a plus.

This was my first time to this store and I was very impressed. I was advised by Belle tires to get four wheel alignment on my Chevy Impala. I wanted to get a 2nd opinion and came to Tuffy. The Technician went through the alignment check and found that I did not need an alignment. The Technician was very knowledgeable and explained me the results of the alignment check. I would always go to Tuffy of Farmington for all my car repair needs. I would highly recommend this shop.

It just took few minutes to detect the problem. Price quoted by them is very reasonable and I am fully satisfied. It was a nice experience with Tuffy. I highly recommend Tuffy to everybody.

Josh had stopped by my office one day and welcomed us to the area. He said to stop by the shop and he would be more than happy to help us out. Today (10/28) I needed to have my headlight looked at. He and his tech (Nick) were very polite & professional. Nick explained what was going on with the headlight and offered suggestions on how to fix it. I truly appreciated that. I will be returning to get my headlight fixed and I will refer Tuffy Farmington to my friends and family. Thanks again Josh and Nick!

I live two minutes away so it is very convenient and top of that when I came for my oil change appointment the staff were very friendly, professional and timely. I also needed a new pair of wipers and as a courtesy for writing out this review they gifted me with a BRAND new set of wipers! I definitely will make Tuffy's my spot for anything car related and will recommend them to any of my friends or family as well.

I had to take the time to thank them for service that was more than I expected. I took my grandson there to have a rim and tire repaired. Over the phone he was given a quote. When we arrived it took less than ten minutes for them to complete the job. Then to my surprise they said the job was too simple to even charge him. They then looked at my tires, checked them and put air in the one that were low. No charge.. Thank you for being so kind, fast and just plain nice. I will recommend them to anyone who needs any type of automobile work done.

I highly recommend Tuffy on Halstead because of the friendly professionals that serviced my car. I had my car towed there on Thursday, 9-13, at 4:10pm and they immediately tried to figure out a way that I could get it started and drive away that night. When it was determined that I needed major work to accomplish that,the store mgr, asked me if I had a way to get home and asked where I lived in Troy. He offered to drive me near my home so my wife could meet me and not have to drive 45 minutes to come get me. Friday morning I received a phone call at 9am informing me that the diagnostics determined that my 1994 Honda needed a new distributor. He had it repaired and running before noon. I asked him to ck out the rest of the car and he found that I needed more work done. All was finished by 4pm, the time promised. THANK-YOU Michael H (Hide)

My car was overheating. I called Walter at Tuffy of Farmington. It was late on Friday when I finally rolled in to the Tuffy on Halstead and Grand River. Walter took my minivan in right away and had the problem diagnosed in minutes. Walter's wife Kathleen drove me home. They called the quote to my cell phone which I OK'd and they fixed my van the next morning. The work was professional at a fair price. I am so grateful that I got a repair on my van so fast and conveniently.
My car was overheating. I called Walter at Tuffy of Farmington. It was late on Friday when I finally rolled in to the Tuffy on Halstead and Grand River. Walter took my minivan in right away and had the problem diagnosed in minutes. Walter's wife Kathleen drove me home. They called the quote to my cell phone which I OK'd and they fixed my van the next morning. The work was professional at a fair price. I am so grateful that I got a repair on my van so fast and conveniently.

Started out with a request for a quote. Talked to Joe and brought my truck in. Usually do all my work myself and had a great experience so much so I brought my car in also. I just did a walk in both times and they had me out the door in an hour or so. Thanks again and will see you in the future when I have other work that I dont feel like doing.
